Quick question - does anyone know if it's possible to set the time and date on a Mini R56 without using the radio or tachomoter display/BC button? - the reason I ask is that someone I know has an R56 LCI which allows you to set the date and time on the radio.. but not on the tachometer display.. he has a BC button - but doesn't have the option to set the date and time? - the reason I'm asking is that he's recently bought the same aftermarket headunit as myself and if he installs this then he won't be able to change the date/time on his car and will likely receive an error/warning message? - so does anyone know if it's possible to change the date/time by any other means i.e. hidden menu, NCS Expert etc?

You can always purchase the HUD gps, compass and clock. As luck would have it, I have a used one that is in excellent condition for only $30.00 w/free shipping.

 

the head unit has the time! - I’m talking about setting the clock in the car itself… which your unit doesn’t do..
