Mini original radio frequency - change to European

Hi!
I apologize if such a thread already exists - I just didn't find it.
The problem is that I moved from the States to Europe and took my Cooper S with me But as you probably know, in Europe radio works also on even frequencies, but my original US radio let's me tune only on odd frequencies. That means I'm missing about 2/3 of all stations here :( Has anyone an idea, how to reprogram the radio without driving to the dealer and paying them $ X hundred for pressing a simple code that I'm sure exists.

Thanks

It can be done directly on the radio, there's a maintenance mode you can enter on the radio to do this.

Press and hold down the "M" button for approximately 10 seconds. Eventually a radio serial number will be displayed.

you can use the "-" keys to scroll through the selections, one is for geographic area. YOu can change your region using that...

As posted above, but he forgot to mention that pressing the "M" button has to be the first thing that you do or else it won't work. If you press another button, simply turn off the radio and turn it back on. Then press the M to get the menu. European stations are on odd and even freqs. So you shouldn't be missing any stations, however, it will take a lot longer to scan.
