Won’t hold idle - CEL, DTC, ABS errors

‘09 Mini - about a week ago I noticed the side marker light flicker twice and go out. Perhaps unrelated.

This morning the car won’t hold an idle. Running extremely rough and will stall less than 10 sec after starting despite revving engine. CEL on. Code reader found:
- 5DFC DTS interface, DTS sensor/VDA signal fault
- A0B1 CAS: input, selector level position implausible
- 9315 KOMBI: odometer difference
- 9CB8 FRM: exhaustive-discharge protection of battery: deactivation side-marker light
- 9CB5 FRM: battery exhausted
- ABAC FRM: clearance light, left faulty

Before I have it towed to the shop - any suggestions? I’m thinking I have a short in the lighting circuit causing multiple malfunctions.

note also that the low tire pressure light is also on.

any/all suggestions welcome.

Update: started the car to check the lights. Noticed the pass side marker light was out - and the driver side was flashing. Restarted the car and now both are out.

Spent the day clearing errors. I’m down to just the CEL/multiple misfires (all cylinders). I topped off the oil and checked the battery voltage.

From what I’ve read it is most likely the timing chain or HPFP. Anything else I should be investigating???

Plugs and Coils

Thought I’d take a look at the plugs today. Found the boot on coil #2 charred on the outside and some oil on the top of the plug. The other three looked pristine. Got interrupted and didn’t get a chance to pull the plugs, but ordered a complete set of plugs and coils that will arrive Friday.

Problem Solved!

Plugs and coils arrived today. As per above the #2 coil was charred and there was oil in the cylinder. I found the plug LOOSE. My daughter bought this car used - and apparently someone did plugs on it previously and didn’t know what a torque wrench is! I may have been able to simply tighten the plug - and perhaps should have just to see - but since I already spent the $200 I figured might as well install all new while I was at it. 15 minutes later the car was running fine!

Thanks to all that responded to my post/cry for help. (?)

You solved the problems on your own pretty darn quick. Good job.
