The instructions on the Foxwell NT530 has you open the caliper bleeder, it activates the ABS, it then tells you to pump the brake pedal while ABS is
cycling.
What if you have a power bleeder pressurized? Does that take the place of the pumping of the brake pedal?

I can see, without the power bleeder, running out of fluid during the 20 ABS second cycle.

 

So far, even with the procedures with these self-pump system on the car, I'd still resort to the old ways, and it works just fine. Heck, I even have success just going back and forth between pumping the brakes myself and then run on over to bleed it from the screw on the caliper. Just gotta merge the excretion pipe into a body of brake fluid so that air will only come out and not go back in. Always work like a charm.

Not sure if I can speak for the F56, but on my wife's F15 X5, I did hook it up to ISTA and have it bleed the ABS that way. In that procedure, I simply open and close the bleeding screw while ISTA activates the 20 or so ABS pumping cycle. No need to pump the brake from the driver seat. I've done it twice already. Not sure why Foxwell would have you pump the brake while ABS is cycling it, though. Obviously I can't really answer your question because I didn't have any experience with Foxwell.
