R52 mystery switch

mystery switch

Hi all as a new owner of a R52 jcw cooper s cabrio and trying to work out all the switches & controls I found a switch in the glove compartment that doesn't get a mention anywhere in the owners manual its a black rotary type?
tks for any ideas

It's a heater/AC selector to keep the glove box hot or cold as needs be.

ty, but why would you need to control glove comp temp[unless you have a small pet that you put in it]

Another good choice. Sydney port of call '69 and much later at a friends house in Hamilton NZ watching All Blacks whoop Tahiti with fish 'n chips washed down with Lion Red. Too many beers, too little time.
