I have owned an '02 MCS for ~9 months and have no idea what this switch does. I have gone through the owners manual and found nothing.


It is on the dash by your left knee. If you push the switch it only lights up if the headlights are on but I cannot figure out what it actually does. Any ideas out there?

 

Looks aftermarket to me...

Probably the switch for the blue neon tubes the previous owner had installed under the front, back and sides... I bought a F-150 once that had that done to it and didn't know when I bought it...

I have the factory rally lights on my car and that is the switch for them

 

Ralley lights never crossed my mind, but it makes sense. My MCS must have come with the factory ralley lights (its a high option car anyway) and were removed at some point before I bought the car. This also explains an unidentified wire bundle under the bonnet that has wires cut off, taped and wire tied out of the way. Thanks everyone.
