F56 Transmission Mount DIY?

Im replacing both engine mounts per the dealers indication that they're no longer any good (82k miles on 2014 MCS Manual).
Wondering if I should do the Trans Mount as well? Cant seem to find anyone thats done it and no DIY's either.
What do you guys think, should I replace it?

Remove the battery and tray,
They recommend removing the axle, but you can work around not removing.

Remove bolt through wheel well

The rest is self-explanatory.

Quick question (maybe dumb), do I need to support the transmission or even lift it a bit with my jack?

My car is all apart now and I removed all the bolts you mentioned. The trans mount is completely loose but absolutely wont come out because the transmission is in the way. I need to somehow lower the trans a few millimeters so the mount can slide out but nothing is working.
Any suggestions for me?

To any home DIYers considering the Trans Mount replacement, don't. It's impossible to get it out because the transmission itself remains in the way. All I can think of is dropping the subframe slightly perhaps but honestly not even sure that would work. The bushing itself looks rather fine even after 82k miles on my 2014 (so 8yrs old as of this post). Im going to simply reassemble and leave it in there. Getting the battery tray out to access it was another nightmare as well. Why does such a tiny car need a 100lb battery???

The upper motor mount is DIY possible, if a bit involved and took me 5 hours thanks to VERY stubborn headlight bolt/clamp mechanism. I'll type up a DIY for that really soon.

The lower engine mount was easy as pie and can be done in less than an hour! I swapped in the Powerflex yellow bushing and the hardest part was cutting out the stubborn original rubber bushing. The rest was easy.

I saw someone else instructing to remove the headlight for removing/installing the transmission mount. That's not necessary either, is it?

I fully understand that you have to remove the headlight to get to the upper mount, but needing to remove the other headlight for the transmission mount sounds excessive to me. Is it perhaps just a bit helpful, or was that person likely overthinking it?
