Megan Coilovers with WMW Springs

Does anyone have any experience with the Megan EZ/EU coilovers with WMW's custom springs?
https://www.waymotorworks.com/megan-...coilovers.html

I currently have Godspeeds (installed by previous owner) and they are GARBAGE! Way suggested these when telling me the TSW springs are backordered into perpetuity. Just wondering if the WMW springs make it a little more comfortable than typical coilovers.

I have Megan coil overs on my Clubman. They have served me well for the past 4 years, but I bought them used and not sure of their total age. I wish WMW works explain better what their spring package actually was on those. Are they different spring rates, or just replaced with Swift springs?

I traded emails with WMW this week about their springs. Without telling me rates, they indicated the WMW spring set is softer than the Megan spring set so thhe ride quality is a bit nicer for street use.

I ordered a set on Monday. If all goes according to plan, I'll have them in Sunday. I'll let you know how they go!

Please certainly post springs rates, or any other markers, that are labeled on the springs. The standard MR spring rates are 7/6, which is what I have on my Clubman. The ride is firm, and in some situations, I wish it was slightly softer. The handling is great, but as a daily driver, softer springs might be nicer.

Driving home the other day, I remembered this thread. Have you received the coil overs yet? Please post up pictures when you get a chance.

After some delays due to busy kids, I finally got them on this weekend. The ride is greatly improved over the Godspeeds. I not longer feel every.damn.crack.and.pebble. I know they still need to settle a little and I still need to raise it about 1/2" and get an alignment. But initial impressions after my 25 min commute are good.

I have developed an annoying clunking noise in the rear. It was there with the Godspeeds but is actually worse now. I'll have to get back under there and figure it out. I'm hoping it's a loose endlink bolt or something easy. The Mrs. will not be pleased if I say I need yet another new suspension component (although she was the one who said "make it more comfortable").

My guess would be endlinks....

Do you happen to have any pictures of the coils? Is the only noticeable difference upgraded springs?

I didn't take any pictures while doing the work. The springs are Swift (I think we all know that), but there aren't any discerning features other than that. In talking to Way, he keeps details pretty close to the vest. I completely understand and respect that. I know everyone wants more specific details, but he's worked hard to come up with this setup. It's not my place to share, even if I could.

Once I get it dialed in, I will have a better idea of the handling improvements. My commute is mostly highway so no twisty bits just yet. I also may not be the best judge for a comparison. The last time I drove a stock Mini was over 16 years ago. It also had 100K fewer miles than mine. But I'll post my impressions for what they're worth and hope they are a value to someone. It's the least I can do after all the lurking and learning I've done on here.

Understood.

Can you post the spring rates?
