Lowering springs or adjustable coilovers?

Thinking on lowering my R56. what's the best choice lowering springs or adjustable coilovers?? pros and cons, which one rides better??

Depends on your needs. If you just want it lowered for looks, but also for handling, and a stiffer spring for handling, just get the springs. If you want increased handling get the adjustable coilovers. You'll also be able to adjust your ride height for looks, or clearance issues for where you drive, or if you want to track your car, you'll be able to fine to the handling. Coilovers will ride stiffer since your changing shocks and springs, but the dampening will be correct, where as just getting springs, the dampening might not be 100% correct which will hurt the ride.

but can you adjust how stiff you want coilovers to be soft or stiff

Yeah, but depending on what kind/brand you get, you'll be able to adjust more or less things.
