Hi new member - just purchased a 2016 mini cooper s. I ordered the dinantronics sport tuner from dinancars.com. They processed my paypal card sent me an email that the item is in stock and ships same day. I ordered Thursday morning and the account still says "pending shipping" I sent an email and it came back undeliverable. I called during business hours and no answer

They are absolutely legit. I drove to their facility in Alabama to have my DME tuned directly, which I highly recommend over the plug in. They had it done in a few hours and it is awesome! I wouldn’t worry about it yet, a lot of businesses are short handed due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Very annoying. Still no response via email. I called both the Dinan number and the Holley Number Paypal has - phone hangs up on me. IF they are dealing with covid issues they should either update their website, voicemail, or send an email. They also could have held off on processing my money until shipped which most reputable places do.

Can I buy the dinantronics sport tuner from someone else? I should have went with the JB Burger.

I was able to connect with dinan this afternoon…sounds like their phone and ordering systems have been down. They’ve been a major name in bmw tuning for 25 years, so no concerns there. I have the Dinan elite piggyback currently and have been very happy with it, and am in the process of upgrading to their flash tune.

And just to close the loop - my dinan sport module was shipped Monday. We'll see if I notice anything after the install.

 

I am a fan of the Dinan Sport. The app isn't wonderful -- the Blue Tooth doesn't always work well.
I use Sport+ and have been pleased.
Trick is to make sure the car is fully asleep prior to installation. Unlock the doors and open the bonnet and make sure the key fobs are far away from the car.
The clips on the plug are easy to lose, so make sure the plugs are all in securely.
I have installed my Dinan on 2 MINIs and lost clips on both and have drawn blood on each installation as it is tight quarters.
