Hi, I recently purchased a 2013 Cooper S that has a P3 gauge installed. When switching to the boost reading function I see psi readings around 15-16psi but not all the time. Is this stock psi readings or do the p3 gauges read high? Anyway to know if it may be tuned?
That sounds like stock numbers to me. On cool days I can hit 16lbs but all this summer heat I tend to see 14 lbs.
Okay good to know. Nothing was said about it be tuned but there was a couple owners prior to myself. I noticed like you mentioned it's not hitting that 15/16 range all the time

This morning it was in the 60’s and she was hitting 16lbs, later on the the day only hitting 14, temp low 80’s. It all has to do with intake temps. I did a 4 am morning drive, wife snores 🤷🏻♂️, little to no traffic then so I can open her up a little bit more, and when doing a pull she was hitting 16 lbs intake temp was same as ambient. Turbos love the cooler air, once it warms up computer cuts the boost to keep from knocking. Last winter was fun, when dry.
