I’m concerned as to whether my stock turbo can handle the hp of the upgrades I’ve just purchased. I have a 2016 r60 I just bought a, m7 intake, m7 charge pipes, jb piggyback tune and was about to purchase a cts intercooler. How much hp can the stock turbo take and did I just make a terrible mistake?

 

The JB+ is mild when it comes to upgrades. Your stock turbo will be just fine.

 

I wasn’t sure I knew the jb tune was mild but wasn’t sure with the supposed “hp gains” from the charge pipes, intake and intercooler if it would push past the turbos hp limits I had read a form that said stock turbos could only handle 190 hp

 

You will be fine, stage 2 tunes are on a stock turbo pushing 20 psi. That JB won’t be anywhere close to that.
