I'll never understand why people on here struggle so much with O2 sensors and cats.

We don't have emissions testing here, hell, not even vehicle inspections unless a cop send you get one, yet I'd never run a catless car. But hey, a lot of people seems to be running track cars on the street pushing mad power requiring to gut the cat.

unless a cop sends you to get one
Or Karen report-f**ks you to The Authorities...

Same clown world here in the DPRC, plus the "CARB-approved" cat racket industry of course...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most folks don't want a CEL for something that does zero to affect how the car performs (down-stream O2).

On principle, I would prefer to have them deleted on every vehicle I own. A failing cat is easy as **** for someone with a couple brain cells to figure out, but people are stupid, so we enthusiasts get to un-**** the stupid rules set forth by the Fed to corral the aforementioned dummies.

So yeah, changing a 1 to a 0 so that someone may do as they please is for sure the best course of action here.

What do you mean by changing a 1 to a 0?

"Changing a 1 to a 0" is saying that a digital method trumps physical methods, when the digital method leaves no trail of inappropriate modifications (cut wires, de-pinning harnesses if the car would ever be sold, just slapping some tape on there like a nonce, etc).
