S there a way to program in the 3flash or was that an option? I have an 06 MCS. I have a lot of options on vehicle. The flasher would be nice. Thanks. Brian.

 

I have a '08 Clubman and my wife programmed our MINI to do that. If you pull the turn signal to just before it locks it goes three times - if you pull the turn signal all the way the signal keeps going. It's nice if you just want a quick three flash lane change. Look in your manual for the instructions to program this.

 

it is a GEN2 thing ... wasn't that way on a GEN1 as I recall

on a GEN2 you can turn this feature on/off thru the turn signal stalk -

 

That's how she did it - she pressed the end of the turn signal stalk and scrolled through the list until she came to that choice.

 

I just had to set this on my 2012 Clubman S this morning after a radio replacement due to a Sirius radio failure. Page 49 of the manual. "Triple turn signal activation."

1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Press the button in the turn signal indicator (stalk) until SET/INFO is displayed.
3. Press and hold until the display changes.
4. Press the button as often as necessary until the "checked key" symbol and SET are displayed.
5. Press and hold until the display changes.
6. Press the button repeatedly until the display shows a symbol that has two arrows with one pointing left and the other pointing right
7. Press and hold until the display changes
8. Press the button to select 1x (brief indication of a turn) or 3x (triple turn signal)
9. Press and hold the button until the display changes. The setting is stored.
