Let's Park It On Our Desks.

I really want to complete my collection of these ads. I'm looking for the sheets with [5 of 12 & 6 of 12] and [9 of 12 & 10 of 12].

I have extras of [1 & 2], [3 & 4], and [7 & 8] to trade. Anyone want to make a deal?

Here are all the six sheet variations (click for larger image):

darn, I thought I had extras of 9 and 10 of 12! I've got 1 and 2.

I got mine from the dealer a couple of weeks ago. I've still got two extra sheets and I've folded 1 and 2 and they're on my desk with my other MINI stuff.

Funny thing, as I was coming back to my desk I saw all my 5 MINI models on my desk and I was thinking about starting a thread to see what everyone else had on theirs. You beat me to it.

The Park It on Our Desks series was from June 2003. There were six different magazines that had the ad in it. For more information, check out post #33 under the Marketing and Collectibles thread. The site is very through and terrific for MINI ad-dicts!!!

LET'S PARK IT ON OUR DESKS. Let's drag race our favorite pen. Let's blow past the tape dispenser. Let's avoid coffee spills. Let's not get pulled over by our boss. Let's get lost in the office. On a 1/56th scale - LET'S MOTOR.

Punch-out folding MINIs in several versions:
  1. Velvet Red & White Cooper "1 of 12" / Liquid Yellow & Checkered Cooper S "2 of 12".
  2. Chili Red & Union Jack Cooper "3 of 12" / Dark Silver & White Cooper S "4 of 12".
  3. BRG & Checkered Cooper "5 of 12" / Electric Blue & White Cooper S "6 of 12".
  4. Indi Blue & Union Jack Cooper "7 of 12" / Liquid Yellow & White Cooper "8 of 12".
  5. Liquid Yellow & White Cooper "9 of 12" / Indi Blue & US Flag Cooper "10 of 12".
  6. Indi Blue & White Cooper "11 of 12" / Pure Silver & Checkered Cooper S "12 of 12".

Not quite the same but...

Here's an alternative you can use to you-ify a MINI with most body and top colors, stripes (or not), then download and print now: http://www.papercars.net/newMini.html

You then take it from 2-dimensional to 3-d. No Purple-Haze, though...

So that Smokey doesn't get upset with me... I'll try to be non-specific...

Somewhere, out there, beneath the selling lights, are non-pristine but useable MINIs from this series...for those interested....for the desk collection-not the binder!!
