Let's Park It On Our Desks.

I really want to complete my collection of these ads. I'm looking for the sheets with [5 of 12 & 6 of 12] and [9 of 12 & 10 of 12].

I have extras of [1 & 2], [3 & 4], and [7 & 8] to trade. Anyone want to make a deal?

Here are all the six sheet variations (click for larger image):

Wow those are awesome:thumbsup: !!! Never seen them before:confused: . Where did you find them in the first place??

Hunter Dec 20, 2004 07:16 PM

darn, I thought I had extras of 9 and 10 of 12! I've got 1 and 2.

I got mine from the dealer a couple of weeks ago. I've still got two extra sheets and I've folded 1 and 2 and they're on my desk with my other MINI stuff.

Funny thing, as I was coming back to my desk I saw all my 5 MINI models on my desk and I was thinking about starting a thread to see what everyone else had on theirs. You beat me to it.

The Park It on Our Desks series was from June 2003. There were six different magazines that had the ad in it. For more information, check out post #33 under the Marketing and Collectibles thread. The site is very through and terrific for MINI ad-dicts!!!

Not quite the same but...

Here's an alternative you can use to you-ify a MINI with most body and top colors, stripes (or not), then download and print now: http://www.papercars.net/newMini.html

You then take it from 2-dimensional to 3-d. No Purple-Haze, though...

Cool site Rick! Thanks for the link!
Have you seen the postcard from Canada that's similair to the Park it on Our Desks? Very similiar theme-

annes Jan 29, 2005 06:21 PM

So that Smokey doesn't get upset with me... I'll try to be non-specific...

Somewhere, out there, beneath the selling lights, are non-pristine but useable MINIs from this series...for those interested....for the desk collection-not the binder!!

Damn, I had 3 of them that I was playing with at the dealer last year on the way back from the dragon... wish I had kept them, could've helped.
