Often it will not go down or up, if the package tray is not hitting the micro switch. I am not sure what issue you are having, so explain, so others can help you out!

 

Absolutely Wayne. Previous owner reported the sunroof portion was going crooked and there was a ratcheting sound. Sunroof portion would not open fully. This happed one day when they were closing the roof (made the ratcheting noise) they were just happy to get it closed. Needless to say they didn’t play with it too much after that. Currently it’s closed but I can see one side is not even with the other it’s out about 4mm or so. Ultimately I suspect cables. I haven’t tried the button yet as I would like to check the cables. Going to have to track down how to inspect them. And potentially start a new thread. Thanks Wayne
