Most here have heard or read my R52 JCW purchase that I made last year....I thought I was getting a car at a good price.....well, the price was good in getting the car, the aftermath of items that I had to get for the car kinda snowballed dramatically.
I have had this part in the cup holder ever since I got the car last year....I have had the interior out chasing electrical issues, but this piece was in the car before I gutted the interior. I went to my local MINI dealer and even the parts guys and a couple of the service techs don't know where it goes. Now I know that I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer here, but this little item is just driving me crazy
Car is an '06 R52 factory JCW car.......
There are no part numbers on either piece (you can slide one piece out of the other)
I can tell you where it "doesn't go".......not the ring around the hazard or cluster dimmer switches.....not the ring that goes around the e-brake handle
I'm not sure it even goes on my car or not....it was just in the box of stuff that was in the back seat when I got the car home...any info will be appreciated
Sorry... I don't recognize it ... the only possibility I can think it is is a cable or hose sleeve but that is only a guess. I'll take some time and really look over my R52 to see if I can find anything that looks like it.
but isn't there a 'block' on one of the support rods of the rear seat headrests to keep them at the US mandated height .... some folks remove these to allow the hr to sit flush to the seat . . .
It goes on the bottom of the carbon fiber JCW shift ****, if it doesnt have it, it had one before.
OK, that answers my question....my car does not have the JCW shift ****.....someone had changed it out before I got the car last year.....this is what I have for a shift **** now....which I like better anyway
