Order was placed on the last day of Oct. 29 Days later the website is telling me it is "En Route". The dealer tells me it should be available by the 1st-2nd week of DEC. Should I believe them?? Anyone experiance a delay after the website tells them the car is "En Route"?

I personally I don't know of anyone who was delayed other than a day or two.

The status changed today to En Route when do you think it'll get here..

Well, you can go to WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN - "Track By Auto" and enter your VIN# as the cargo ID. This should tell you what boat your MINI is on.

Once you know the ship name go to WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN - "Search By Vessel" and find your ship's itinerary.

All this will tell you when it is due to hit the U.S. My understanding is that once it reaches port and moves on to the VDC it's anyone's guess how long it will be there before being trucked to your dealer.

Hey Pat-Are you on the Takasago? It shows 149 MINIs on board but no one else here has mentioned it . Mine is on board, due in to NY on the 3rd, and my MA said his data shows an estimated delivery to MINI Towson on Dec 8th.:smile:

Give your MA a call, he should have the estimated delivery date. I have no idea what they base that on, but he might be able to tell you what to expect from previous experience. He'll probably be a little conservative to keep you from getting your hopes up too high.
The worst part is yet to come...we now know where the MINIs are, and when the ship gets in. Once it hits the VPC, I don't think we'll get any information until it shows up at the dealer, especially with the short shipping distance between the VPC and the dealer.

Yeah, I might even actually convince them to let me pick it up from there. My brother did it when he got his VW R32. He it being driven to the dealer or being bedded there. Lol, hes a little crazy.
