California (SJ/SF) area tuner/shop advice?

Hello!

I'm about to move to SanJose in the next months and I was wondering if someone could share a reliable/trustworthy tuner contact in that area.
The car, a 2013 MCS, is heavily tuned and I was hoping to find someone who can handle "OCD style" both regular/unexpected maintenance and, maybe in the future, an engine internals upgrade (forged pistons, rods etc..)

Thanks a lot!

Yeah they basically told me i didnt need their services when i inquired about driving down from Sac to have an Intercooler and BOV installed, walnut blast and dyno! Think they are pretty used to touching 80k cars and seemed pretty offended at the idea of a pleb like me giving them my money.. go figure. No harm.. i did the work myself and saved loads (minus the dyno)

Dang... sorry to hear that, thanks for sharing... do you know any other reliable shop with significative experience with Mini? Also, is there any official BMW/Mini dealer you'd recommend? Most of the work on my car has been done by the official dealer, great people, used to upgrade cars for customers with aftermarket parts... I'll miss them :(

Im up in Sacramento area.. where I will let Neilo BMW touch my car when its necessary. Other than that.. ive pretty much lost all hope in humanity for being able to reliably work on a Mini. Since Ive started modifying mine.. i doubt others even more. These cars are so easy to do regular maintenance on and even simple upgrades and repairs. Ive come to accept that I will likely do all my own work between the prices the dealer charges and other shops incompetence.

My go to 'go fast' is Mario Palza & RPM Power Tuning. Neither are local though.

Thanks for the contacts, I totally get it, frankly, when I moved from Europe to NC, I found myself surprised by how scrupulous, available and correct the official dealer (Flow Mini of Raleigh) has been in these years...hope they are not just an exception, maybe other people living in the SJ area have some positive experience to share? thanks

BR Racing in Los Gatos has done some Mini performance mods, they used to have a couple of race prepped Minis. I used them for my alignment. They mainly concentrate on BMWs and Porsche, if you go there you will end up with a serious case of lust for a race prepped 911 or M3. There's also a shop in San Carlos, Mini Werks, I haven't been there but the reviews on Yelp are all very positive. The closest dealer Stevens Creek MINI has always treated me well during the included maintenance period and for a few warranty issues, though their labor rate is very high.
