Raise Front end slightly

I need to bring my front end up between 1/4 and 1/2 inch to avoid some very minor rubbing issues. I’ve thought about the under strut reinforcement plates, but the ones I found are 3.5mm.

Would a camber plate like Ireland or Eibach do it?

I’m on Koni FSDs and NM alpha springs.

Which under struts have you found, as I haven't seen any for the r56?

If they are cheap, is a sandwich an option?

But I'd be tempted to spend on fully adjustable plates, rather than just the fixed ones

Maybe consider different springs? You are going to want to raise the rear the same amount, or your handling will be wonky.

Lexan has an extremely high compressive strength yet is is easy to cut and shape. It can be drilled as well with entrant cracks not be an issue. You can buy sheets at any home improvement type store and it also can be glued together with various types of adhesives as well as contact cement.

Opted for Bilstein PSS10s and Vorschlag camber plates ... once the parts get here, I'll get it truly dialed in.

I'm very happy with my bilstiens pss10 B16

Although you may find when you come to fit them that you need to lower the rears a little more than the fronts to avoid excessive rake

8mm taken from rear
Fronts left at maximum lift

Might take more out over time

If you install IE fixed camber plates, it will raise the front about 1/4", as well as giving you more camber. Sounds like a reasonable way to get where you want to go, for about $200 in parts.

These plates use the factory upper strut mounts, so there wont be any harshness or excessive noise.

Have fun,
Mike
