Routing amp wires from stereo to trunk

Hi all, I've tried searching the forums but can't find the info I need. I'm trying to run some RCA cables and remote switch wire from my Kenwood head unit to an amplified sub in the trunk (2006 R52). What's the best way to route those wires, down the middle or around the sides of the car? Are there panels that are easier to access than others? Sorry, I haven't done this before. Thanks for any guidance you can give me!

Never done this in your year/model but if you can slip a fish tape or metal/plastic rod under the carpet down the center that would be easier and faster than pulling trim and panels. I've done that years ago in other cars.
