Ordered 2005 MCS EB/W

 

I'm in...

Build week #49, which I believe is around the last week of November/first of December.

 

I think my build week is #46...

 

Placed my order 10/03 still waiting on a build date.....

How long were you waiting before it was scheduled?

 

I was suppose to be week 45 but just called ASK-MINI and found out they started mine two weeks early! Completion date is scheduled for 11/3. I'll do an intro on myself soon. I've only been lurking for 4 months.

 

Placed my order on 9/13 (MINI of Peabody) but their September allocation was full so I had to wait for the October allocation. Was given my production number and build date on 10/20.

 

I'll have to give ASK-MINI a call. I was in Peabody's October allocation for MCS, got my production number pretty quickly, but the OL is still only showing "on Order" the wait is KILLING me...

 

Mine is confirmed for week 46 as well. I can't wait either specs are

Count me in ! I just found out today that "Maxine" has a completion date of 11/05/04 I ordered mine from Mini of St Louis back in September, but I had to wait for a December allocation. I understand it takes approximately 4 weeks from completion date to final destination, so I will definitely have her before Christmas.

Ordered my Baby on Oct. 5th. I am slated for a December delivery but I check them Mini Owners Lounge EVERYDAY. It says my mini is still "On Order” I am going crazy waiting for it

Ordered a HB/B late september, which should be delivered mid-late december.

 

Ordered mine August 28, build complete Oct 2, and en route (somewher in the pacific). Can't wait to pick it up hopefully the the first part of December , hopefully???

It seems the wait gets worse the closer the car gets to being delivered. My mini is on the EMDEN right now and it seems like its been months since it left southamton, its due in port 11-1-04 so I should have it sometime around the 15th of November. the closer it gets the longer it seems.


Someone a few posts back said the wait is killing them, I cant tell you how many times I have said THE WAIT IS KILLING ME !!

I will post pics when it finally gets here.

 

The Owner's Lounge seems to have a 2 to 3 day time lag. 1-866-ASK-MINI seems more up-to-date, and your MA probably has access to the most current info.

Fortunately, when I ordered my car from Classic MINI in Cleveland, Julie, my MA, warned me that the Owner's Lounge would show my MINI as "Electric Blue" for a few days. I would have totally freaked! if she hadn't!

 

Well a call to ASK-MINI tells me it's Scheduled, but no firm date yet. What the hell does that mean?!?!?

I am awaiting my MCSC in Cool Blue. My 'S' is being built two years after my COOPER was built. Scheduled for production 1st week of DEC. Hopefully, I will have better luck getting it over here. In 2003 my MC sat on the dock for almost a month because the ship scheduled to pick him up "SANK" the night before getting to England (Friday, Dec 13th, 2002). Waited the whole month of DEC. for the next ship. The only upside was that after my MC reached the VDC it was processed, sent to my dealer and I was motoring 3 days later. Since I already have a COOPER the waiting this time is not near as bad.

Ordered my 05 BRG/W MC on 10/22 at Classic Mini. Status ON ORDER, as I'm sure it will be for a while. Delivery is supposed to be in January. It will be fun to check on its production status as it goes along, but I'll try to keep life going at the same time. I don't plan to check the Mini website daily, that seems a bit obsessive--maybe every week or so would be sane. I'll check in with all of you waiting along with me as I check on the car. (Maybe some of our cars will ride the same boat together across the pond....)

 

imaginemini, I just checked my status and I'm at 'scheduled for production' and I put in my order on 10/21, so you might want to check and see where you're at.

UGH.. I ordered on 10/3 and still only "On Order" I received my PN right away too.
