I recently purchased a used Accessport and flashed my R55 with the 92 octane stage 1 tune...it hasn't played nice so far.

I opened up the throttle and it feels as if the tranny is slipping. It stutters and jumps upon mild to hard acceleration. I thought the tune may be the problem so I tried the stage 1 tune for 91 octane...same problem.

I loaded up the Accessport "stock style" tune and it ran flawlessly.

I just installed the Accessport Manager software onto my computer...can someone link me to a few tunes that work well on their car?

Mine is an automatic running version H910B.

Any info you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

If you haven't changed the trans fluid yet, put that one on the list. Gotta handle that extra power!

Oh that's on my list. Also need to get rear end links (knocks occasionally) and while I'm at it I'll upgrade the sway bar.

peaked a few times it looks like the earlier tunes made auto shifts rough, maybe see if someone can send you a few updated tunes

 

Use the linear tune stage 1

 

Not sure I have that tune. There's only a handful on my AP. I plugged it into my computer and updated the firmware. I thought the firmware update gave access to the available tunes, but nothing changed.

 

Does Cobb still support these since ALTA doesn't sell them anymore? Or would it be better to go with the Manic tune I keep reading about?

 

OP, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a couple tunes you can try that I got from Perrin Performance for my 2009 R55 automatic in 2012 and 2013. I was having similar jerky acceleration and especially jerky shifts. The map fixed most of the issues. One of the maps in particular worked better than the others. I even have one for a FMIC. Hardware-wise you might want to make sure your diverter valve is good (diaphragm not torn) or you might be losing boost. They're pretty inexpensive and they have been redesigned recently to last longer.
