Keep on eye on the Rod Change shift rubber mounts!

While driving recently, my shifter started flopping all over the place. As it turned out one of the Rod Change shift rubber mounts totally came apart, and the other was on its way. The only thing keeping the shifter in place was the exhaust system, which was holding it up. Here's what it was looking like:

Fortunately overnight shipping and a little bit of squeezing over and under got it back on the road again. Till the next time....

It would probably transmit a bit of NVH, but you could use an appropriate length bolt and poly bushing to replace these......
