Back in the Fold! North Central California.

Well, old Mini nut back after flirting with a Fit.

Got my first Mini Cooper (Austin, not Morris - I do have my pride - in 1960 traded in my 1956 Porsche "Damen".

White, black top, Seats were for midgets but I found some Porsche seats that went in VERY easily.

White paint rubbed off on everything so re-painted body bright yellow, wonderful! Front end got entirely smashed '67. End of chapter one.

2004 - Saw a yellow/black Mini on a dealer's lot and bought it with a credit card.

2014, May. Frozen belt pulley damaged engine after 120,000 miles that it never let me down.

December 2014 bought a 2015 Honda fit. Bad idea, local Honda service incompetent and it was an early 2015 built in the brand-new factory in Mexico. Factory start-up problems?

Yesterday, traded the Fit in on a 2014 Mini with 14K on the clock, what I should have bought in the first place, and the first owner paid for all the add-on Harmon Cardon, leather seats, sun roof &tc. Good deal.

Happy Camper!

I drove a fit around for a little. Those things were... pretty gutless, but comfortable to drive nonetheless. Looks like you're back in what you belong in! Got any pictures for us? Oh, and welcome back to NAM.

Actually liked the Fit but it had strange noises in the front suspension & the Service people just kept blowing me off. So much room!

I always enjoy the page header on this site - looks like my Yellow mini in the upper right corner.

PIX - yeah - here ya' go: My '60's Austin Cooper as we leave on our honeymoon in '65 - subsequently painted yellow/black top; My '04 Yellow Mini, and my new-to-me 2104.

I REALLY liked the "Mickey Mouse Ears" convex mirrors I installed on the first Mini - I could see 360º without turning my head.

Holy crap - a 2104 model? Odd that they haven't really changed the design in a hundred years. Does it still use gas?

Kidding of course - welcome back and looks GREAT! I love the Mini's!
