Loaded, sailing to NY, truck to Chicago, I-80/90 to South Bend, Indiana to my garage where I will set up a sleeping bag and sit in it until dawn soaking in its ablsolute coolness......OK, I'm excited a wee bit.

My car is on there. (Okay, it's my wife's car, but she has to let me drive it eventually!) It's going to ride all the way to Baltimore and then take a truck to Virginia Beach. The dealer said I...I mean my wife, will have it before December.

 

Can't find a photo of the AIDA, but I will track it down. . . .

 

My MCS is on the AIDA on its way to Chicago too. It was delayed a day, but the 20th is only a few days away

Just checked MINI USA and I now have an estimated delivery date for 11/28 to Chicago! I'm assuming/guessing everyone else from Chi-Town has the same delivery date so clear a spot in the garage. This is unreal!

 

This is so cool. I just found out i'm also on the Aida. I'm in nj so i could actually have my car around thanksgiving.

I'm in the windy city and have an estimated delivery date of 11/28 as well. However, I think we might get lucky and have our MINIs by Thanksgiving (or at least Thanksgiving weekend). I saw a post in the "November Club" where someone's car was in Chicago 3 days after it was unloaded from the ship. If you're one the AIDA with me, then your MINI should arrive in New York this wed 11/20!

Hi everyone, mini owners lounge also states that my expected delivery dat is 11/23 and it seems that AIDA will be arriving at that time. However, Im thinking its probably going to take some more time from the time it gets from the dock to the dealer. so Im wondering why the owners lounge says 11/23 will be delivery. Im thinking it may be a little later than that.

 

Hey Gang,

My estimated delivery date is 11/27 (To Indianapolis). If we dock on the 20th, the 27th sounds about right. If my MINI gets on a truck/train on the 20/21st, I can see it coming in earlier.

MINI NIGHTMARE

Last night I had a dream that my MINI was delivered to my house - it was the wrong color combo and had a sunroof (I did not order a sun roof). This didn't upset me too much but whan I "woke up" the next morning, I had left the sunroof open and the car was soaked by rain!!! The dream continued, but those are the horrific details!! Ug, this is what I get for being on MCO sooooo much!

I think the wait is really determined by how long your MINI has to spend at the VDC (Vehicle Detention Center :smile. After all, the truck ride from New York to Chicago or Indianapolis is only 2 days, and the dealer only needs a day to prep.

I'm on the AIDA and I check it's destination dates every day! I'm a sick man! I was suppose to be out of town on the 27th to the 1st, but luckily I am home and I can't tell you how disappointed I would have been if my car had come in and I wasn't home! My garage is clear again and I'm ready to rock! When is the Chicago GTG?

i'm not sure i can last much longer! my delivery date say the 28th, but that isn't going to happen because of the Holiday. i'll gladly settle for the 29th or 30th! i'm getting cabin fever! i can't wait anymore!

I am feeling the stress right with you guys. If I tell my husband another delay he will scream. I don't think he can take much more of me.

I just want to make it before December first also.

I agree with you all. Its all I think of and its getting really pathetic. I want to have the car and be sick of it already. I wonder how long or if that will be? COME ON AIDA!
