Called 866 ASK MINI for the first time to learn that my MINI is in NJ, waiting to finish final inspection. Then it is on the truck and off to INDIANA.
Motor On - we all will be doing this SOON!

If not this Friday then sometime soon for sure! I know they said the 29th, but I really think it's next week we'll be driving. i keep telling myself that so if it does come in early, it'll be that much better. who am i kidding, it'll be great no matter what!

here is my lateste update. called ask mini and they said my car was at the VPC and it already has it's work order. "so it's looking good" was his comment. has anyone else called today? better yet, how many times have you guys called today?

I called again, and my car made it through the VPC and was released to the trucking company. It might have made it on a truck tonight, or tomorrow. Either way, this weekend is looking realistic again!

That's great cooper44, I called this evening and got the same news. The guy at ask MINI even said that I might get a call from the dealer tomorrow. I find that unlikely, but Friday or Saturday, I'm going to be all grins

just getting your attention here with a recent post listing for you to eagerly click on. It looks like I won't have my car in NOV - Uggg - a 1% sales tax increase will be tacked on 12/1. Why not in January? I KNOW - because of all the holiday spending!!!! But, I am very excited about the beginning of next week - I'll have my MINI at last. My first big trip will be from INDAIANA to WEST VA to DC. A good one, eh? Especially the West Virginia bit!

THE MINI IS AMAZING. Picked it up last night and the handling is great, the takeoff is great, its comfortable and it is the best purchase I have EVER made. So FAR! But it seems that is is very great quality. To all those who are still waiting, it is sooooo worth the wait. It is really. I am learning to drive it, since it is manual, and it is really wonderful.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE, may your mini be home soon too.

mine boarded a truck on the 27th, and i called the dealer. MiniChristina said my car was on the list showing it was there, but she hadn't seen it yet. if i am extremely lucky i might be motoring tomorrow. all day tomorrow!
