AC Schnitzer 19" Wheels for JCW

Has anyone looked into the specs & cost of the ACS 19" Wheels for the JCW?

I checked their main website & learned a lot....prices aren't as bad as I expected, but was a bit surprised that they still spec spacers for the fronts (4.5mm). Wheel & tire package specs 215/35/19 tires. I'm definitely going to consider these wheels, since the 19s are open design yet strong & will likely look super on the F56! I think I'd miss my JCW center covers though. I still like the front splitter too, but not with the Pro splitters.

If you are ok with some inaccuracies in your speedo...you might consider 40's. In my opinion they would look totally sick. I have always found that the the stock diameter looks too small. I'm thinking of running 45's on my 18" rims.

They are here in full kits, center caps included, they come with rings and wheel bolts ( adapter kits ) , Just make sure you get the wheels that state " For JCW Brake ". Its in the second sentence in gray.

Big wheels make the JCW look smaller! LOL! Seriously, the JCW should come with 18" wheels standard & 19"s optional! They look stellar on the F56! My only hesitation is I really like the Black & Red JCW center cap! Not real keen on the ACS center cap...but I suppose I'll get over it rather quickly once mounted! ;-)

Yea, the design is a modern take off of the dual parallel

and if we go really old school MINI, those are no longer available, but maybe down the road if I tell AC Schnitzer we need them

OH SNAP!!! Those look really nice. WOW. Spacers needed and they are 19"? I assume the 'adaptor' kit are spacers? What tires are those? And I like that stripe on the sides too but I would need it in red

Yes they do.

Thats what the adapter kits are in the main kits on our sit for JCW cars and non JCW cars We have them without tires, so you can choose your own tires.

Tires look like Falken : falken azenis

How many runs of electrical tape, do you use?!?!?!

Just curious, for those rims, how many turns of electrical tape do those rims use on a JCW? 3? 4?

Talk about No sidewall

Cheers,

P.S., if you drove over a quarter, I bet you would know what year of circulation it was.

You can find the graphics on the ACS website. If the price is any indication they're really proud of them. ($320)

Nothing wrong with a 35 aspect ratio performance tire....lots of Bimmers come stock with them. I think ACS knows what they are doing! :-) Drive a M235 sometime and see how that feels. My MA told me his M235 felt fine when I expressed concern about the 205/40/18s on my JCW order....and it's fine. I would like to at least try these wheels & tires before automatically being so negative.

I've got 3 of the previous gen AC Schnitzer wheels if interested. Here's a link to a 4th one that needs to be refurbished: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINI-Coope...EAAOSwBahVZwOh

Resurrecting an old thread here…but if anyone is interested I have a set of Schnitzers to sell. No rash or bends, in anthracite which is now discounted (replaced by black). I ran them on my clubman with Ac Schnitzer spacers but they are the offset that is intended to run with a JCW f56 to clear the calipers. I had Schnitzer springs as well and the car was a comfortable ride (without runflats of course)
