Hella Supertones 02 r53

Im looking to install these with the relay, but with the 2 horns on opposite sides of the car that does make this more difficult.

Can anyone tell me somewhere that the horn wires backtrack where I can splice the relay in easier?

Should I just source a second relay and wire them up right at the mounting locations?

I already own these horns so please do not recommend a different horn.

On a GEN1 the horns are already wired with a relay so if you are replacing the stock horns you should be fine. I believe others have gotten these into the stock location - tight but it can be done.

If you are ADDING the Hellas then I have used another relay and just run the relay trigger wire to one of the horns hot lead . . . this is probably overkill tho as the stock setup has the horns on a 15 amp fuse . . . (28 of the in the car panel)

Nope I was going to pull the old ones. I honestly hate the sound of them. Its much too mainstream and it really irks me. I have no issues pulling the bumper off as Ive had it off before.

They play a bar of the Colonel Bogey March, popularly known as the theme song from the movie Bridge on the River Kwai (and yes ya'll, I know the details .... I'm simplifying . . . .)

Some more info here on the hella and air horns, also a guide to get to the old horns.

Most people just rewire the stock plugs to fit the supertones. Or the universal hella horns.

I've looked through both of those threads and they actually aren't helpful at all. The first one is for totally different horns, and the second one if for a totally different car.
