Molded plastic mystery hose

Hey fam! This is my first time on and I'm glad t be among fellow mini owners 👍. I have an 06 r53 that I bought last month and I love it! This weekend I stripped her apart and rebuilt the supercharger, new crank, SC and alternator pulleys, gates racing belt, new water pump and Alta catback exhaust. Everything was going swell and ahead of schedule, so something was bound to go wrong any second. It finally happened, I broke a plastic molded hose, one of two that connects to the SC intake duct between the SC and the throttle body. It white, anyone know what it goes to? I can't trace it 😢

I got to the same diagrams on mini of kenshaw, but it shows the single molded hose fitting that's for the vacuum brake booster. They're showing the automatic transmission option from what I'm seeing

I'll be pulling the code round lunch, MIL is on and it has high idle, bounces between 11-1300 and drops to normal idle with a load

Can you post a picture of it? I know the gray map sensor hose HERE is a common hose people break when servicing the supercharger. #20 below.

No, unfortunately I didn't think to snap a pic of it. It sounds like grey could be it. As best as I can describe it, the air duct has two red quick detach fittings in it that hold two molded plastic hoses, about 1 inch apart from each other. The adjacent molded hose is the vacuum line that leads to the brake booster. The white or gee one next to it makes a s curve, each bend at about 15-20 degrees. It's about 9 inches long and is press fitted into another black molded hose down the line. It broke at the black press fitted hose, right at the junction. If I get a code pertaining to it, then I'll let you know and replace the whole line system with a rubber vacuum line press fitted to the quick detach ends. Can't wait to pull the codes, but I'm so damn busy, my shop is full right now

So pulled a p1242. Looks like I jacked up the bypass valve plumbing. FML. Might as well do a new silicon duck and bypass valve assembly

P1242 (4674) Secondary Upstream Manifold Air Pressure Sensor Too High in Deceleration. Definitely sounds like that hose I listed could be your issue so ordering a new one and replacing it may be your solution. This individual had your same issue after replacing his SC and it was that hose: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...rger-swap.html. Let us know if replacing that fixes your issue. Good luck!

So the hose is in! Yay whoop whoop and all that crap, I'm back down to it and have everything off except for the supercharger, the tmic horn and bypass valve are off, and thank Buddha my bypass valve is behaving like its brand new. I can't figure out where that map tube goes!!! I know the male end ( the grey end) goes, but the black end with the flat surface is a mystery to me!!!! Any help would be appreciated for sure
