Cooper 1.5 3 Cylinder exhaust

Who'd have thought that the sound of a 3 cylinder engine could be exciting.

Surprisingly, the newest Mini Cooper 1.5 has wonderful note, deep with a slightly off-beat 'wobble'. A distinctive sound that does add to the enjoyment of MINI driving.

After all, it's the same engine as the BMW i8, that everyone is praising.

The newest QuickSilver Sports exhaust system enhances and amplifies that unique sound to make a great car even better.

Interstingly not the first 3 cylinder mini, Innocenti did a 3 cylinder version from '76

Looks good I'm interested in getting this, does anyone else have this that can upload a longer exhaust clip or if Quicksilver is kind enough to upload something a bit longer that would be great!

spend $100 to have the muffler removed and straight pipe put in its place with a nice tip.

It sounds fantastic and is not loud at all

I really want to do that, the only thing that's stopping me is that I'm on a lease. Could I just re add the muffler when I return it?

Mine is leased too

Just save it and you can always have it welded back togther really easily. Or if you end up getting out of the lease early and trading the car in, it becomes a non-issue

Oh alright awesome! I'll see to go and get that done on the weekend. If you don't mind me asking, do you have a tune? and if so any issues with it?

Thanks!

Awesome, I'll look into that! You wouldn't happen to have a video of the Muffler Delete would you? I want to hear what it sounds like and wasn't able to find anything.
Thanks again!

I did the delete last weekend, it sounds sooooo much better! With the back seats down, there is a little drone but not bad at all. With the seats up it's hardly noticeable.
I will get video today and upload it. I'll get vid from the exterior and interior.
