This may be the craziest post on this website, but a friend suggested I give it a try....

I own a 2003 R53 with (what I am told) are JCW aftermarket exhaust pipes. I passed smog with these literally 6 days ago. I'd like to swap these for a set of OEM/factory pipes. I am a 38 year old father of twin babies and lets just say that they do not like the sound of my car. Please note that I do have photos. I will email them to anyone who responds and upload them as soon as I figure out how to.

My guy at Napa suggested that someone might be willing to trade his/her exhaust for mine. There are (of course) two catches:
1. Buyer agrees to pay either 150$ or the cost to install the new system in my mini (whichever is cheaper), and,
2. Buyer agrees to come to Walnut Creek and have my mechanic (Wolfgang's Foreign Auto) take a look before the trade is made. I need them to just look and give me a thumbs up.

I'm willing to consider any reasonable alternative to my offer. I can come to you, so long as we find a reputable mechanic to do the work. I'm also willing to consider other options and ideas, just shoot me an email and we'll talk.
