2013 R56 S Factory JCW Exhaust Question

Intro:
I plan to install the following factory JCW/GP2 parts:
18307646678 - FJCW Muffler (link:http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2578589/)
and
18307637476 - GP2 Rmfd catalyst + front muffler (link: http://parts.prestigemini.com/a/Mini...R/18_0702.html)

Disclaimer:
I read up on the differences between the above option and JCW tuning kit and I am convinced to go for the above option. I am not interested in aftermarket solution for warranty reasons. I am aware of the Magnuson-Moss WarrantyAct;but I prefer not to go that route.

My Question:

Having said that, I am interested to know if the part number 18307637476 is different from my current 2013 Cooper S system. I got the number from the Mini dealer near me after he plugged a GP2 VIN in his system. As hard as I searched, I could not find any distinctive diagrams highlighting any differences.

Side-note:
I am also interested in purchasing the above mentioned parts. So, if anyone is selling them;PM me.

All you need is the FJCW muffler. Cut your stock exhaust and use the 55mm clamp.

18307637476 - GP2 Rmfd catalyst + front muffler is not needed.

Not unless you have a spare $1550 in your pocket. Just get the muffler and clamp.

Or, find a used JCW exhaust for sale.

this is my fjcw exhaust with no resonator, personally i loved it when i had just that, you can purchase the fjcw exhaust and go to your local exhaust shop and have them weld it on (i prefer to have it welded on because i have seen the clamps leak a little bit, nothing major) for me to get my resonator cut out and weld a pipe to the fjcw muffle it was like $100

Glad you like it.

JCW Muffler - Rear

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/18307646678/

Most people like the cut and add method. I think the tone gets a bit deeper then the Cooper S ( unmodified ) mid pipe w/ fJCW exhaust.

Its you do want to the JCW center pipe its here: 18307637476

http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/18307637476/ES2862532/

Here is the 55mm clamp also, you will need for either choice. 18307560778

Thanks

Thank you everyone for your response.

DOtheDEW: Your video had been bookmarked for couple of months now I do not wish to delete the resonator because of the possibility of drone issues.

This is what I ended up purchasing: http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Site...432/ES2601881/

I will post a link of my exhaust noise post installation.

Welcome.

The 18302293432 is from the JCW Tuning kit ( separate tip ) exhaust. Little different sound then the fJCW exhaust.

Ref for just the exhaust section.

Yes. It is. I prefer the sound of the JCW Tuning muffler on stock MCS exhaust vs the FJCW muffler on stock MCS exhaust. The FJCW exhaust on FJCW car is different. Besides that, the chrome tips with embossed logo are added visual bonus.

I also plan to install the JCW tuning kit intake with cylindrical filter: http://www.ecstuning.com/ES2596859/. It could help with exhaust note.

ok, just wanted to let you know.

Mfg Part# 11122218978 JCW Intake box for 2011+ N18 MCS is not a tube filter ( like the N14 one ). Its a Panel filter oiled type if I remember right.
