Drivetrain Anybody try these inexpensive mods?
Anybody try these inexpensive mods?
I have a few bucks burning a hole in my pocket, and I was wondering about the value of these two accessories:
-BOV Spring Upgrade
-Panel Filter Drop-In - I've been meaning to get a new air filter anyways, and I wouldn't mind a little extra turbo noise.
Anyone tried either of these? I don't have much more to spend than that. If you can think of something with more value for $70-80, I'm all ears.

I have a K&N drop in filter, I think I paid $40ish for it. Any power gain is questionable but I noticed more turbo noise. From what I've researched, the OEM intake set-up is pretty good. I think it's worth the $, you'll never need to buy a new one again, just the filter cleaning kit.
Can't say enough about the Clutch stop! Just installed two days ago, great bang for buck

It limits how far you can push the clutch in so you can make faster shifts. Once you hit the point where the clutch disengages, you don't need to go any further.

It also removed the dead space in the clutch for every day to day driving. If you're at stop lights or signs, you have to push down a little les farther. It makes for a much better feeling clutch.
