clubman "s" or countryman "s"? Best years?

I have an '08 clubman (w/ 75K on the clock), and am thinking of trading it in on a used clubman "S" or countryman "S". Looking for your opinions on why you prefer one over the other, and whether there are "bad" years (ones where the cars seemed to have more problems).
Whaddya all think?
Also, dealers in the Philly area...is there one in particular that has a great reputation?
TIA,
Rolly

I traded my 2010 Clubman S for a 2012 Clubman S Fully Loaded. I tried the Countryman but to me felt to high up. As for problems, that is why I ditched the 2010 (n14 engine) for the 2012 (n18 engine). Night and day difference in reliability. Just try to get a CPO to cover you.

Thanks, Chad. Exactly the kind of info I was seeking.
Today I traded my '08 Clubman in on a '14 Clubman "S" w/ about 4k on the clock. WHEEEEEE!

Nice swap! I've tried both of them as loaners from my dealer, and I must say that I am not enamored of the Countryman. The Clubbie was far more to my preference.

Yup, I loved my first Clubman, and was dismayed to learn that they were discontinued, so thought that grabbing a low mileage '14 was a great plan. Most Mini aficionados seem to agree that the Countryman loses a bit of the go-kart feel that makes the standard Minis so much fun. I guess it's probably been discussed on this forum, but the guys at Main Line Mini in Philly (who were great to deal with, BTW), said that the Clubman will be reintroduced eventually, probably as a four-door model....emphasis on "eventually", so I'm glad to grab this almost new one, and the turbo is a great improvement over the base model...

I'll try to take a pic or two in the light. It's black w/ black trim, and they did a nice wax job on it, so it looks very sleek at the moment. Not a lot of extras, but it has the cold weather package; HEATED SEATS ROCK!!!! I've figured out the Bluetooth for my celphone, but it doesn't have "Mini Connected", so it's not exactly an internet experience. Nevertheless, it's got more bells and whistles than the '08 did, and the turbo definitely kicks butt, so I'm a happy camper!!
:^)
Have a happy!

The black on black color combination looks very sharp, especially in the clubman with its added length. I think it makes it look more sleek. Nice choice.
