i am going to use a catless downpipe that will bolt to the stock exhaust so yes it would have to be compatible with that. 2.5 inch with flex pipe.

it is the part just in front of the flex pipe that the v-band clamps to.

oh , I miss read. I thought you said exhaust , as in exhaust system. If your just adding a DP then who ever sold you the dp should have the adaptor to fit the metric exhaust.
JM turbo sold me the adaptor with their dp that could fit the stock exhaust or 3"
You might could contact them and see if they sell just the adaptor.

no, i am going to be building a downpipe back exhaust and need the piece that connects to the downpipe.

I am going to be using a downpipe that fits the stock exhaust, so i just need the piece that attaches to the downpipe.

Is that more clear. its the piece on the exhaust picture i posted that is before the flex pipe.

EDIT: Basically i am building what is in the picture i posted (downpipe back exhaust system), and i need to find the piece that is before the flex pipe in the picture.

I take it you want to save your stock exhaust ? I would just cut the end off the stock and weld it to your new system.......you can always weld it back on your stock if you go back to stock....
Someone here might have their old exhaust they can cut it off.....

@ Whrisk - You need a V-Band flange (weld).comes in different sizes (diameters) you can reuse your factory V-band clamp or buy a new one. Jegs or Summit Racing should have what your looking for.

Yes I do not want to hack into my stock exhaust.

Thank you for letting me know that name. I will see what I can find.

Seems I was wrong. Looks to be a "ball joint" type connection?

I bought a 2.5" stainless pipe with a 3" flare similar to this one.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PFAB-2-5-to-3-304-Stainless-steel-Flare-pipe-16-gauge-/261423568471?hash=item3cde0f1657&vxp=mtrThen coupled it with an exhaust doughnut and the original v-band clamp. Worked like a charm. An exhaust shop can also probably flare the piper for you.

yeah, its just that most of them are so expensive. i could build one for half the price of most of the ones on the market. but i got this one used, still in real good shape for less then i can build an exhaust for, so i had to buy it.
