Moneypenny's been with us for 2 weeks now and we're starting to settle into a comfortable relationship. Every moment behind the wheel is fun. This is exactly what I expected. I'm finding it hard not to exceed posted speed limits. She wants to go. This car is fearless. She inspires confidence with her acceleration and control.
The black leather sport seats are more comfortable than I expected. I wish the steering wheel radio controls could switch from AM to FM... there is an extra button on the left side... why not? The dealer installed alarm is definitely in charge. I left the key in her ignition at the gas station and had no choice but to set off the alarm when I opened the door. People drive like idiots around her - slowing down or speeding up to get a better look - sometimes preventing me from going where I'd like. Everyone smiles at her. 35.1 mpg on a 5 hour roadtrip to the Hudson Valley!!! (My 2000 Explorer Sport got 17 on its best days & was not even close to this much fun.) I worry about the 17" Dunlop performance tires... The shift **** is too easy to pull off. British Racing Green is a different color depending on the time of day and weather. I love the way her blue undertones twinkle on a sunny day. Heated seats & an open sunroof!!! Her sunroof doesn't rattle (866 miles so far). Why is there a jack in her boot?

Great review! As for the jack...sure don't need it for run-flats, huh? Maybe it's there to put some weight over the rear tires? Or to help out other folks on the roadside?

35 mpg on a car that's not even through break-in? Wow! I have 4K on my S and am consistently getting about 25mpg. Likeabrave, tell us someting about your driving style

Same here. Most tanks of gas average around 25mpg. I occasionally do a tank that gets 27-28. But still, 25mpg for this kind of performance is truly unbelieveable! My Mustangs were equivalent 0-60 but weren't 1/10th as fun to drive and they only averaged 17mpg!!!

I've been driving only in town the last two weeks while taking some time off. I reset the computer for average speed and gas mileage when I fill up. I have been averaging 27 MPG and average speed is 23 MPH. I may rip around town, but when I see the average speed, I feel so slow.

35.1 was on a joyride in the country - Reset the cons. meter at fillup, all wide open road, 6th gear no more than 70. I was having so much fun with the car I forgot to look at the Autumn Foliage  Prior to the roadtrip I was averaging 27.6 with a city & hiway combo.
