Rail Cup Holder Question

Thinking of buying the rail cup holder for my 2014 CM to use as a change holder. There's just nowhere to put change without sacrificing a front cup holder.
I've read some conflicting posts about it not fitting with the e-brake and armrest. Haven't been able to find any pictures though.
Anyone out there have this set up?

I use the Mini rail-mounted sunglasses holder to carry change. It fits nicely underneath the arm rest. No interference with e-brake or armrest.

I've got that on there now and my sunglasses don't fit in their anyhow. Just thinking the cup holder would be more convenient. I'll keep that in mind.

Unfortunately, I am travelling and the extra cup holder is home in the garage. But if I remember correctly, the front cup holder can not go in front of the e-brake handle and the shifter. You need to place it on the rail far enough back otherwise when you pull up on the e-brake, the e-brake may rub the side of the cup holder. Additionally, if you have the center armrest, it may not go all the way down.

Again...going from memory

Cool

I installed the two rubber cable organizers (bones?) into the rail to make a small box in the rail that can hold coins. It won't hold a lot of money, but it works for me.

Attaching a picture. It's between the phone caddy and the sunglass holder.

For more storage, there are the two areas under the radio/climate control.

I made use of the rail attachment piece for the sunglasses and mounted a small tray on top of it with two sided tape as per the attached pic. Works a treat and its easy to get coins out of without interfering with anything.

This is what I do as well. Works perfectly, though I generally don't have a lot of change in the car.

I've done that and my e-brake keeps hitting on the side of the cup, decided to take off and install extra cup holder http://www.outmotoring.com/cupholder-countryman.html
I have manual transmission so it was very annoying to pull e-brake also tried phone holder sunglass holder but no.

Also rotate side to side. Very easy installation although you will have to make a hole to put one screw on. I think 3m tapes will hold it perfectly but for secure i just put on. Very convenience cuz fits any size cups and holds strong.

Wow thanks, from the simple image on the website I was picturing something that was closer to the current 2 cup holders. Your images make it so much clearer
