Pulstar Plasma Core Spark Plugs

I am thinking of ordering a set of these and am wondering if anyone else has tried them. If anyone has used them successfully in an N14 engine could you please let me know which part number you used. I'm getting conflicting information from multiple sources and don't want to spend $60 on a set of plugs that won't fit or work. Thanks for any info.

Sizing was wrong on gen1 cars....
Listed the same plug on the s and non s....the non s uses a shorter plug...resulted in a couple engines getting DESTROYED.....
All marketing....and with the above failures....have no faith that ANYTHING the company that makes them is true....
And reviews back that up....
P.S.
An old plug vs a new plugs always "tests" better...you must test new vs new....so even their "tests" are bs. Save your $$$.

Those plugs make all sorts of claims, and basically all of them are BS. Same with the 2-prong electrodes, or 4-prong, or 168-prong electrodes. It's marketing BS.

Just get a good quality plug that fits, and you've basically done all you can for your ignition system.

Oh--and clean up your grounds, too.

I asked if anyone had tried these plugs or had successfully used them in a N14 engine. I haven't heard from anyone meeting the criteria I listed in the OP. What I have gotten are personal opinions which I didn't ask for.

Stick with what the stock ones are. Those really are the best you can get and change them every 10k miles for performance reaseans.

Two former members DESTROYED THEIR MOTORS.... On gen1 cars cause they tried them...and installed them using the info on which to buy supplied by the company selling them.
Key word...former member....Sparkplugs...slams into the pistion...$5500+ bill for a new motor...

Every 10,000 miles, that's just stupid! For performance reasons, is this your opinion or fact? Iridium is considered extremely tough material and that lasts for a long time.

And back to the original question. I guess no one has tried them In a N14. Is there any way to close this thread?

Like my first post linking you to the NGKs, I would just stick with those. NGK makes some of the best spark plugs on the market and they meet all the needs of your MINI.

Have you thought about giving Brisk a try?

No there isn't, but you can unsubscribe from this thread in your thread subscriptions. A lot of us MCS owners use the Iridium plugs link for you by Porthos and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone here that has used those plugs you're asking about, don't cry because no one has any info on what you're looking for. You gave it your best though.

I didn't complain about rough idling for the first 50,000 miles on the original Iridium plugs, your huge reason "for performance". I get the feeling you're full of BS and don't really know anything about cars in general but pretend to though, unless you have facts or a link to prove what you're saying it's just all hot air. Where is your huge reason because that would be a first for you on NAM.

Not a badass, just someone who knows when bad advice is being given to a member on NAM, nothing more. Iridium is generally credited with being the second densest element and is the most corrosion-resistant metal, even at temperatures as high as 2000 °C. Perfect for a long lasting spark plugs including well past 10,000 miles, see you just learned something. I didn't notice any gas mileage or performance difference when I installed new Iridium plugs at 50k, probably have something to do with Iridium being the second densest element.

Please stop posting false or misleading information on something you clearly know nothing about, opinions are fine but lets post factual statements that can be backup by facts or real evidence.
