Loud pop in rear..
Check rear sway bar links and make sure they are tight. I had something very similar happen to me about a month ago. Direction change or over a curb to a driveway there would be a loud bang in the rear. Similar to someone taking a small hammer and banging under the rear cargo area.
I replaced the rear swaybar itself 2 months prior. I must not have torqued it down well enough and after 2 months of flogging it became loose enough to move a little under stress. When the car was in the air, I was unable to move the links, but the swaybar was a little dusty and the drivers side link bolt had a halo around it where it met the swaybar, indicating there was some movement. Tightened the link bolt and I haven't had a noise since.
Could also be the link is worn out if its the original OEM style. They have a nylon cup that can give out. But if you've done any work with the sawaybar in the last 6 months to a year, I'd bet thats what you have going on.
