Hello everyone,

Just got through adding a pair of $9 LED lights to the boot, front dash cam, back dual dash cam, and a gps tracking unit.

gps tracking unit was from eBay, working with Ptel sim card really well, dash cam in back is Urive with wifi access.

Wiring front dash cam down through airbag trim, pulling add a fuse as the V1 install on another thread (thank you!), and pulled the ground from the screw just above fusebox, after sanding off the paint on screw.

The dual LED setup is awesome, not too bright and more uniform, you can even rotate to point better. On ebay they are listed as daytime running lights, but they're not that bright so perfect for the boot.

 

I'm just hoping the cameras are not too attractive to window smashers.

Also, got a UPS power supply so the gps and rear 2 dash cams run off a charging battery for a few hours after stopping the car, independent of the car's main battery. This is an awesome item! Check out the Powerstream PC-DC-UPS-1212 5A UPS control module. The wiring is really simple, just using the rear cigarette lighter to charge the sealed marine battery when car's running, switches to the marine battery when the car's off. ($79).
