wheel fitment

Hello all,

I know this question has probably already been asked, but I'm being lazy right now and don't feel reading through all the threads. i currently am running 16x7 et 42 with 10mm spacers. I have megan coil overs on, but not that low yet. I am looking at getting 16x8 wheels with et 25. the question is will i have any fitment issues. Currently have stock control arms and camber in rear are at 2 degrees as it sits.

Also, if you have any pictures of 16x8 et 25's on your car it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I'm thinking 15mm spacers should be enough for clearance..anyone?

Nice shots of pittsburgh !

coachvminis - platy it safe with 15mm so you dont rub on the inside . Otherwise you will have to test fit with the wheels and measure out.

You wont need spacers. The rim will not rub the inside.
What rubs will be the tire. It really depends on the model of tire and tire size (some tires are wider than others even if they both state 205), which coilover you will be using, what height you intend to ride at, and if you are adjusting camber.

For reference, I ran 17x8 ET30 on 205/40/17. Lowered on KW V1s (maxed out in the back, still more to go on the fronts.). -3.0degrees in the front and -2.5 in the back. No rubbing.

Not planning on lowering at the moment. The wheels are in 16x8 et 30 what size tire is best for no rub? Would I need to go to an et 15 or et 25 for the front not to rub? Or thirdly do I need spacers to clear all?
