can i move the jumper terminal?

I want to build a new airbox, probably out of stainless, after building my custom intake, i used my dremel to cut a section of the oem top airbox so hat i still had the peg to mount the jumper terminal. So does anyone know if and how i could relocate it so its out of the way? or could i just get rid of it completely? Ive only had to jump it once, and i did that through the actually battery terminals in the back.

And while im at it, what is the purpose of the chamber on the infeed tube? Because th KN typhoon replaces it with just a plain pipe, and i was contemplating doing the same

Yes, you can. It is just there for convenience. It will simply be inconvenient if the battery goes completely dead and you have to manually release the hatch, and the back is loaded with stuff...

My Mini is stored, so I can't say for sure, but there's the main positive cable as well as another wire/connector somewhere on there. Like pretty much any wiring, you can move it, it's just a matter of doing it properly (using the proper wire gauge, etc). As for the chamber on the air intake, it's a resonator to make it quieter.

Yeah, right after I got my license I made the classic mistake of weaving the key in the acc. Position all night. Then without honking I closed the hatch after I took out the dead battery, and the manual release isn't that bad to get to. And hopefully I never have this issue again. My only concern about removing it, would be if it does go dead, will the doors and lock still work?

With the key, yes, unless your lock isn't working :p

Well the burnouts at school like to skip class and go through the parking lot and rob people so i always make sure its working!! When i bought it, the original key wasnt working, as far as pressing the mini logo to unlock or lock it. and of course a friend ripped off the button on the replacement. so i have to put the key in the door. It wounds like the lock is electronically assisted. like you turn it left and it sounds like a solenoid actually moves the lock. so will i still be able to do that it has no power?
