Need some help with wheel noise
I'm getting some annoying wheel noise from my front driver side wheel. Sounds like brakes are worn and they are screeching. I replaced brakes a few weeks back and that did not solve the problem. Brakes still looked good actually, but still replaced them anyway. Noise is still there. It is inconsistent as to when it does this. Some days its real bad other days I can not hear it. When it is screeching, if I tap the brake it will go away, sometimes turning the wheel quickly left or right can make sound get worse or go away for a few seconds. Anyone ever experience this. I'm suspecting its front wheel bearing but not 100 % sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this forum, not sure if I am posting this in the rite spot.
Usually, a wheel bearing will make a noise at a certain speed, it won't just come and go. Did you checked the dust shield? If it's bent and touch the disc it can make a noise and most of the time, you will hear it when turning.
PM'd you the list to check things out. Dust shield was on the list.
