So I decided to go ahead and plunge into another cheap modification thanks to Walmart clearance of 24 ft roll of white vinyl racing stripes for 5$....yep, 60$ to 5$, so I couldn't pass this up...
I finished the 4 hour install to my custom liking, here are some pictures of my exterior mod...
Great job! I cant decide if I like the stripe on the black piece or not personally. Do you think it will stick?
Yeah, I made sure once I finished to go back over all the edges with a heat gun prior to driving. It was quality stuff, just got lucky going with the family to Walmart... I as I do with all my mods with keep updates!
Can't wait to see the larger pictures. Looks great from here. I see the vinyl strips on sale all the time at the auto-parts store around here. It's an itch I'm tempted to scratch, and your pictures are very encouraging.
My wheels are white and OEM, I plasti dipped them white to add a little contrast to the white top with blue body. It came out good. Now time for some engine modifications, looking for a quality CAI!
I have removed the lower strips for the bottom valence (black piece), and i really enjoy the new look. May also do the license plate relocation so i can really get a full front face look on the stripes!!!
Very nice. Did you do it behind the grille area as well!!!! ) Kinda looks like something in there on the pic above this ) Also did you just straight edge the vinyl or use it pre-cut like that.

I didnt stripe behind the grille, just a photo coincidence...haha... And this vinyl kit was just a roll, i had to pre cut everything, then lay it down on the car and finish any final or misjudged cuts. But all the hardwork was worth it. I wanted something different and custom, and now a lot of people said it looks OEM...but great, guess i got the best of bothe worlds...lol....for 5$ and about 6 hours of work total, well worth it...
