Exhaust - any manfacturers work this out for us?

Worked out getting us R57 owners an exhaust that fits properly...

I've read all the threads that the search feature comes up with, and it appears that unless you want to make the brace under the car useless by adding a ton of spacers, there doesn't appear to be an off the shelf option like there is for the R56 (i.e. JCW, Milltek, Invidia, Alta, etc).

I'd love to be able to just bolt something on for a little more volume without having someone custom bend me an exhaust.

Does anyone make an R57 exhaust that just fits without adding a bunch of spacers to our factory chassis braces?

We've found the Akrapovic fits the convertible R57 and R59 roadster. The price is more than others but totally worth it as they always fit perfect and sound great with no drone. And don't forget the cool carbon fiber tips

Borla exhaust will fit with no problems.
Friend of mine bought for his wifes 2010, he had to heat and crush part of the bend
that hit on the brace. Borla told him to do so and if not happy they would refund his money. He took pictures of the problems, emailed them to R&D, they made the changes to the exhaust system. They sent him the new production product which fit perfect.

I installed the Quicksilver on my R59S and it fit without any mods. Even though Quicksilver has a separate part number for the R58S and R59S mine came with the part number for the R56S. I contacted Quicksilver in GB via email and they assured me it would fit my R59S and it did. I ordered direct from the factory and had the part quickly. Check the exchange rate at time of ordering and you may find a considerable savings. It was shipped FedEx at 6 P.M. GB time one evening and was at my door by noon the next day. I like the sound and there is no drone while cruising but you get some under load.
I have not seen the bracing under the R57S but it may be the same as the R59S. Someone else may be able to provide that info for you. Good luck in your research.

I have the Akrapovic down pipe and exhaust on my R59. The fit is perfect. And the quality is so good that it's worth the price.

I had a magnaflow and replaced it with the FJCW exhaust! Best money I ever spent. FYI: I don't have the 2nd cat and no resonator on. No drone. Great price by Sewell.

Did you get the fJCW exhaust for an R56 or an R57? i.e. Does the R56 fJCW exhaust fit the R57S?

Thanks!

Just installed alta 3 inch Dp back exhaust. Everything fit pretty well except the part from muffler to the resonator if alta would move the connection 6 inch to the front it would fit perfect I was able to get it to fit but I'm taking it to a muffler shop in the morning so they can adjust it for me
