considering you only asked one question I would say he's saying yes to your question if camber links and control arms are the same thing.

Yes they are. There are four control arms on our rear suspension. All four are interchangeable so you can buy a pair adjustable control arms and put the on the bottom to push/pull the bottoms or install them on the top top push/pull the tops.

People use the terms "rear camber links" and "rear control arms" interchangeably. I know because I bought and installed the same ones (the mod is listed in my signature).

Depending how low you go, you'll most likely need them, otherwise you'll drive with retarded camber in the back since you can't adjust it enough to bring it back to a decent level. Hotchkis make quality products. I have the control arms, but they aren't installed as I'm not lowered yet.

I have the pictured H-Sport lower control arms. I had a shop dial in the camber and everything, but they feel really solid and the build quality is good, especially compared to the stock junk that came off it.

They also look nice and shiny under the car

I would set at about -1.0 deg.

However, you can just have your favorite alignment shop set the rear toe and camber to within normal spec, however I feel that the camber spec is a little to wide (allows too much negative camber to still be within spec) so I would ask the alignment shop to set it to around -1.

Silly question... is the following statement true? the lower the car, the lower your wheel offset can be?

For the rear it is true. The more the car is lowered the more the rear camber increases (top of tire leans inward) which provides more clearance at the wheel arch thus allowing for less wheel offset. However, that increased negative camber will wear the inside edge of your tire especially if you have any toe in the alignment. So most people that lower the car want to remove some of the increased negative camber by using the stock lower control arm adjustment or installing aftermarket adjustable lower control arms.

The front camber does not change much with lowering.
