What are you using to check your AFR?

Sorry but your decsription is confusing, if you're getting that high of a reading @ WOT the first thing you should check is the vacuum line to the fuel regulator, sounds like you have a major loss of vacuum either it has come off or you have an open line somewhere.

Pull the I/C & re-check that all the vacuum lines are tight & routed correctly, if you did the VGS mod, make sure that not only is the line to the diaphram on the BPV tight but that the line you disconnected is plugged or capped well.

Sorry, I can't find the picture right now but routing should be like this:
(No Boost Gauge)

Stock:
One line from Intake Manifold to Fuel Regulator
One line from Base of BPV to BPV Diaphram

VGS Mod
Insert "T" in line between the Intake Manifild and Fuel Regulator
-One line to Intake Manifold
-One line to Fuel Regulator
-One line to BPV Diaphram

Plug or cap the line or port on the base of the BPV.
