R60 connected startup screen
Mine always comes on to where it was. But, as noted elsewhere, it frequently changes the station. Also, it will not hold preferences - you have to tell it every gosh darn time that you want station details.
I don't have an issue with it changing the station, but not showing the station details unless I tell it otherwise is frustrating...
Have you been alternating key fobs? That's the only time mine switches apps. I only have the MINI Connected. No Nav... But, I haven't had a problem with it selecting things at random unless I change key fobs.
I have had it take some time to show the artist artwork on the screen or the song info at times. It could be my iPod though too.

nope. same key fob every time. the second fob is in a drawer since it came home.
it's very strange. one start of the car and it's on nav, with the left menu selected. the next start it's on the home screen. then it'll be radio. then back to nav.
i guess i'll have to bring it up with service when it goes in for an oil change.
thanks!

try changing the mode while you're in reverse with the backup image shown. watch it do something else when you shift out of reverse.
